This offering has a little something for everyone.  We have stories that range from one thousand to ten thousand words.  We have comedy and tragedy, serious and whimsical poetry.  Our authors range from adults to children … This is a true representation of the breadth and wealth of what the NoteBored community has to offer.

We ran many contests through the last year, and many of the contest winners appear here on these pages.  The first of those winners is RL Long with our feature story, “Falling.”  It’s a flash (short) fiction story about an angel’s choice.

Other contest winners include Aliette de Bodard, who presents us a thoughtful poem called Lantern-Bearers, and Sacredmime, who gives us a grand comedy that involves writing the next great novel, and kittens.  Well, maybe you have to read it to suspend your belief.

Pantros gives us a heart-warming story about what might happen if our wishes were heard.  Samantha Cope gives us a dance in the woods, and W. Joy Robelen a gut wrenching letter.  Rounding it out is one of our pre-teen writers, Shawn Edwards, with a beautiful poem about the Great River.

Shawn’s older Sister, Tessa Edwards has submitted to us a longer story about an Elf Warrior and the news he brings to his king.  This absorbing tale will delight you.

Finally, this issue’s author interview is of one of our contest winners, Aliette de Bodard.  W. Joy Robelen shares with us the conversation that she had with this up-and-coming author.

So, take your shoes off, grab a cup of your favorite drink and sit a spell.  We’d like to spend some time with you.

At this time Turn the Page Magazine is not a paying market.  We accept reprints, if the publication rights have reverted, and you note the place and date this story first appeared. Simultaneous submissions are fine; just notify us if you need to withdraw a story.

We will continue to work out the bugs while the submission process is underway, look for the first release in April.
